Share interests and aspirationsThe Research Summer School in Translation Studies is an initiative organised jointly by the Department of Translation and Interpreting at UAB and the Spanish Ministry for Science and Technological Innovation. It will be hosted by the Department of Translation and Interpreting of the UAB for two weeks: 8th-18th June 2009. The Research Summer School is a two-week intensive course with the aim of promoting the exchange of experience, and triggering first class research amongst those who are at different stages in their academic career Making full use of round tables, seminar papers, individual tutorials, public presentations and hands-on workshops, PG students and prestigious academics will meet in a common space during two weeks. The Research School has been designed to serve as a platform where students interested in academic research can share interests and aspirations, and where they can discuss issues such as finding a research topic, structuring a research project, finding sources for funding, writing a PhD dissertation, pursuing postdoctoral studies, publishing academic papers, running for prizes, and obtaining scholarships. The Research Summer School is open to PG students from anywhere in the world looking to further their studies in research at any level: MA, MPhil, PhD or PostDoc. Invited Speakers for 2009
